How do I install third party plugins?

Members of the community and other developers can create custom editors or themes that can be used with Standard Notes. These 3rd party plugins can be installed through the Plugins menu:

1. Take note of the install link for the 3rd party plugin you'd like to install.
2. In Standard Notes, click or tap on the Open Preferences icon
3. On the Preferences menu, select Plugins
4. Scroll to the bottom of the dropdown menu, then paste your install link into the box labelled, "Install Custom Plugin"

Please note that 3rd party plugins are not reviewed by the Standard Notes team.
